Good day,
First time poster, so, hi.
I had a mic switch fall apart in the rear cockpit of a Stearman I fly sometimes. I robbed the identical switch out of the front to keep it going, but I'm getting tired of reaching ahead to slap the passenger in front of me.
The issue is, that the stick grips in this particular stearman aren't stock, and I have no idea what they're originally from. I've been told possibly a BT-13 or SNJ/T-6/Harvard, but I've never seen anything similar yet. There's not a lot of BT's up here and the 2 Harvards I've seen had something completely different, both from the Stearman and each other.
I realize I could just change the grip to something different or whatever but I want to try to get this thing back to the way it was, as the grip has a slot cut in it for a switch this exact size.
The switch itself is a momentary double-throw type, up for T/X down for I/C.
I'm going to try to post pics, but I'm a complete message board "newb", so bare with me.
Thanks in advance for any info/help. I am a member of the SRA too, but I just thought I'd try this first, as the grips aren't original Stearman in the first place.
