Can we get some of these restoration project threads stickied?

Dave's FiFi thread definitely.

I think all threads of ongoing restoration projects (the TBY, B-32 Turret, PBJ, etc) should be stickied so that they stay on the first page for ease of location since sometimes it may be weeks or months before there's an update.

I am all for moving the ol' 927 thread to the this board as well. I'd like to see the TBY, B-32 turret, PBJ, etc projects stickied. :D That way its easy to find them and they dont get pushed back. Just a suggestion. :D Keep up the good work guys! 8)

I thought the whole reason for opening the Maintenance Hangar was for the posting of restoration & maintenance posts only. Instead the majority of the posts seem to be for parts type posts. Wouldn`t moving these type posts to the Aviaton Parts Market serve the same purpose as a sticky? The WIX Hangar's 1st page is practically half full of stickies, it wouldn't take long for the same thing to happen here.

Just a thought,

Mac

I agree that there seem to be too many stickies on the first page of the WIX Hangar forum. The Maintenance Hangar would seem appropriate for all maintenance and restoration threads, and maybe drive more traffic over here from the "main" page we all head to first. Just my humble opinion.

On a somewhat unrelated subject, should I post our bomb trailer restoration project in the Maintenance Hangar? It isn't a warbird and I don't know if anyone cares to see the project anyway, but I would like to post it in the appropriate forum if I decide to show it.

Scott

Well, that makes one of us. I don't really see any other more appropriate forum to post it on with the exception of the Military Matters area.

Thanks, CAPFlyer.

Texas Raider Thread!!!!!!!! I really feel for those guys. I really wish I had better timing, I wanted to get a crew together from the airline I worked for and fly to Houston to help. But when out airline went south, no one including me wanted to take the time off so we could save some money just incase.
