The annual warbird fly-in at Gratiot Community Airport (KAMN) at Alma, MI is set for next weekend (Aug. 20-21). There's typically a good turnout of warbirds. The Corsair, Widgeons and a bunch of T-6s will be there again. Maybe a few surprises. Anyone else going?

Good turnout today, in spite of the weather:

F4U-5
FM-2
2 Grumman Widgeons
13 T-6/SNJs
Stearman
L-39

A couple of the warbird pilots said Vlado may be stopping by from Selfridge in the P-51 at some point tomorrow too, although the Wildcat is heading to a different event. If you're with a 2-hour drive or so it's definitely worth checking out. Everything flew today and there should be even more flying tomorrow.
