Living History Day at the TN Museum of Aviation is this Saturday. I'll be heading out Saturday morning for the day. I've enjoyed every event I have been able to attend so far and don't think I'll walk away unhappy.

It's going to be a great day, perfect weather, friends, planes and vets. They took up the Skyraider today and the C-47 "Bones" just arrived.

Great day at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation's Honor and Respect event! Six World War II veterans were in attendance, and were honored in a ceremony inside the hanger. Three of these veterans had been P-47 pilots.
Over the course of the afternoon there was plenty of warbird flying. Flights included C-45, T-28, C-47, A-1H, and two P-47s with a P-51.
"Thank you" to Neal and Rhonda Melton, plus all of the staff and volunteers at the Museum for this event. Looking forward to the Museum's events like this next year.
First time this year I'd run into WIXer Tim Cox. He should have uploaded some photos by now ???

I was able to make it to the Tennessee Museum of Aviation's "A Living HIstory Day" for the last flight of the day and caught it on video.
Here's a link to my video on YouTube of the two P-47s and a P-51 demo.
