Sharp! But I thought it would be getting the Pinball scheme?
Coincidentally, this just showed up on eBay - listed as P-39s but they're Laredo RP-63s:

I think you'll find rather that the idea for the Pinball scheme was being floated about for the CAF's P-63F, which, as has been discussed, would seem a strange choice for that particular rare variant.

The Dixie Wing P-63A looks fantastic!

Looks gorgeous. They did a great job in all respects. Can't wait to see it fly at an airshow this year.

Looks awesome - so far - that is, until they finish the paint job.

If that wasn't a teaser ^ I don't know what is. I'm curious await to see what the CAF has ultimately planned. Amazing and fantastic job all around. Everyone involved should be thrilled.

PS: I'm also not a fan of the CAF possibly painting the very rare P-63F in the Pinball scheme. But it would be cool to see one flying in those markings.

Simply fantastic! I'm sure if they have additional markings planned that they will look good, whatever those markings may be. However, should they decide to leave it just as it is, I think it looks superb already! Long may she fly.

I like those "out of the factory" schemes on some aircraft..

I'm with you on that. Looks great now, but you know they're going to ruin it with that horrible, garish out of place CAF "tramp stamp" before they call it done

I agree with the comments on the factory-fresh look. I believe they are brining this to Osh Kosh. Hopefully they delay the tramp stamp until after Airventure, but I doubt it.

Count me among the fans of the factory-fresh, as-built look. The P-63 looks superb in that new paint!

Count me among those who are not fans of the CAF "tramp stamp". 'nuff said on that subject.

Can we have the CAF "Tramp Stamp" toned down and maybe resized to suit the aircraft????

Another fan here of the plain, USAAF delivery colors on some warbirds.

Maybe they could resize the 'Tramp stamp" and put it on the nose landing gear doors, for now. Then when they get those nice air to air photos it won't be that evident but will be there for the throngs of on lookers when parked at airshows. Another thought is to put the tramp stamp under the horizontal stabilizer where the CAF name used placed originally.
