I was wondering if anyone can help me identify the following 2D30 hubs and if the following blades might be good.

1) The hub shown I believe ir for a Wright R-975. I'm having a hard time identifying the exact model hub though. Note the vented yoke.

2) The second hub shown is marked as a 2D30-301, which I'm having hard time finding any info on as well.

3) I recently had a set of blades measured by my local prop shop which they "guessed" to be 6101A blades. Afterwards I pulled the hub and found they were actually 6095A-12's. They failed them as 6101A's and moved on, I was wondering if anyone can help me identify if these blades are good as 6095A-12's ?

I don't have a reference book or anything like that to specifically tie those P/N's to a particular application unfortunately. I do have some general input though:

- The first hub (the vented one) I'll agree is likely for a Wright since they are designed to breath out the nose through the crankshaft.

- The blades should be easy to compare the dimensions now that you know the P/N's. We might have a reference book that would help with this, but a good prop shop definitely should. We use Precision Propeller in Boise, ID for all of our HS props (both counterweighted and hydromatics). They are knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't know, then Maxwell Propeller in Minneapolis, MN is widely regarded as the best HS prop shop in the nation for the counterweighted series. I'm sure they could help.

- Based on the Stearman parts in the background of one of the pics, are you planning on building a prop for a 450 Stearman? The 6101A blade is the easiest to get approved and the 6095 might cause you some troubles (or might not, depending on whoever is doing the paperwork). I know we have a cross-reference book somewhere that lists "compatible replacement" P/N's. It could potentially help with approvals if you try to get the 6095 blades approved. I'm not sure how close the 6095 is to the 6101, but it could offer some insight at least.
