On another unrelated post it was asked about updates on the B-17 restoration "Champaign Lady". We have a YouTube channel that has lots of videos. These are short clips and usually features a volunteer talking about what they are doing. We are pushing as much video to our YouTube channel as we can, keeping it current. Plus the live feeds reside there as well. You can either search on YouTube "Champaign Aviation Museum" and click on our channel link. Or here is the direct link www.youtube.com/channel/UCJXClwfIZPEf-FC_NVMKQCQ
Thanks,

Awesome!

Thanks Dave.
That's really great for those of us who don't facebook.
Much appreciated.

Andy

I just watched a few of the videos. You have a great bunch of talented volunteers coming up with ingenious solutions.
Building a set of B-17 wings from scratch is a huge undertaking! Very impressive!

This B-17 is going to be amazing when its complete. They really have come a long way, and there were more than a few sneers when they first started.

Works for me. You will have to look a little bit under the top to find what you might want to see. They are fairly short.

We just posted another video today. This one is about how the Boeing drawings called out certain rivets which are obsolete today. The document trail leading to the rivets we can legally use is sometimes a long one. This video explains what we have to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mflz6lzEfJk
For your watching enjoyment!!

How much structure did this project have to begin with?

Is it a Fort being built out of bushel baskets?
Most impressive if that'a the case.

Still enjoying the Youtubes.

Thanks

Andy
