I don't think they own it, so I wouldn't expect them to do much to it. Especially as they have been struggling for at least 15 years to deploy the resources to put their DC-3 back in the air and seem to have given up on their dream of ever flying the Super Connie again.

Yeah, it is my understanding as well that they don't actually own it. That's also backed up by the FAA registry. I have high hopes that someday someone who will restore it will get a hold of it.

Well, the good news is it is with someone with the resources to get it flying again.
But....with all do respect to Kermit, he does have a lot of projects. Sometimes it seems that his storage hangar is the warehouse at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark..
I thought of the Delta earlier this week when recalling the 85th anniversary of Max Conrad's search missions after the Armistice Day blizzard of 1940.
