On Scott's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DennisonEnterprisesLLC/), he recently posted that the current projects he is working on were requested by the clients to be kept private, therefore the reason for the lack of postings in recent weeks. Scott however has posted photos/updates on Facebook as recently as November and December, but not here.

After waiting nearly 7 years for our Corsair parts to be finished by Dennison Enterprises and numerous promises of completing them, we’ve moved these parts to another shop.

Sorry to hear this. I was always fascinated with Scott's work and assumed the project was moving along at the desired pace.

So, in my 70 years I have learned many basic principles govern life. I have reached professional status with regard to the Peter Principle as the above post reflects. Life is about, what have you done lately? I created a dissatisfied customer in a trade where it is not allowed.

I tapped out on two complex skins for the Corsair. WHF did what they needed to do.

I lived up to Chuck Wahl's prediction that I had not the skill set for this project. I accept full responsibility and thank all who followed this thread. I did make some cool sugar along the way...

Scott,

You did and I'm sure will continue to "make some cool sugar". Just as important, you imparted some of your sheetmetal knowledge and skill to others.

I'll be working on a 1/16 scale aluminum Zero and will be referring back to this thread often. I've already used some of the things I've learned here to make some practice pieces.

I hope you will continue posting some of your projects, especially here. I'm sure there is still a lot of interest in your techniques.

Mac

Onwards and upwards...Scott, your capabilities are tremendous, as is your ability to teach and inspire. My dad and I had an absolute blast taking your course in Waukesha, and I would recommend it to anyone. It will not only serve us well in the future but will also no doubt remain one of our favorite memories. I hope you have many more students pass through your doors, and I look forward to catching up with you at Oshkosh one of these years. Keep them projects a-coming!

-Matt

Scott, I have no doubt that this was a difficult post to make.
Much of the work, that your skillset has built up to, is also difficult.
For all but a small handful, impossible actually.
Thanks for sharing so much of this journey. It has been enjoyed and watched, in awe, by many.
Thank you for your candor sir.

Much respect

Andy Scott
