Sorry, absolutely no sense at all, although it does make me laugh though more at the misguided sentiment rather than anything else 
Everyone knows that engines should be 'in-line' and as the Editor of this site, I surprised that you have made such an error of judgement! 
 (can we have a Lancaster Emoticon yet?)

Inline engines are fine for recreational planes like the spit or mustang, but if you want to do some serious flying you need a radial.
