To start off the 2007 airshow season the BAHF C54 & crew will attend a special event & reunion of the RAMEY Historical Foundation of Puerto Rico. this trip has been in the making for over a year now & we here at the BAHF are hard at work in the hangar all winter to get everything in order & in shape so as to be ready to make this historical & interesting trip on or about March 18 2007. We will be making stops along the way for gas & crew rest. We should arrive at RAMEY on the 20th of March for the five day event & reunion activities. After returning on the 25th to Orlando FLA. area,the C54>Spirit Of Freedom> will be staying in the FLA. area for some airshows. The BAHF C54 museum has been upgraded over the last few years & now has a 52in. computerized avatar image screen in the rear to welcome folks aboard & tell some History of the Berlin Airlift. With support & interest we will keep the LEGACY alive as long AS WE CAN. This Douglas Proptransport is such a Fantastic Flying Machine! THANKS< JR
