Hi Wade, Brian O'Meara is a friend of mine and at his invitation I and a buddy made the trip to Denver for this event last year. This is quickly turning into one of the better radio control warbird events on this side of the country. We spent a great deal of time with Russ Kyler last year listening to war stories and just getting to know him. A true gentleman and hero who is still as sharp as a tack! I hope to make it again this year but it is up in the air at the moment. I'm making the trip to Chino in a couple of weeks and that may be the only airplane related vacationing I get to do this year! Just a few pics from the Rocky Mountain R/C Warbird event held in Denver, CO. Lots of R/Cs, it was a busy weekend. We also had an open house going on at Jeffco on Sat, and EAA B-17 was at Centennial giving rides.
