after all these years I finally went to the airshow in 2004 and have been going ever since.

Since I'm quite busy on the traditional "Father's Day" in June with my own kids, my dad and I have dedicated the Saturday of the Airshow together as our own "Father's Day" that we spend and bond together, (He's even a bigger warbird nut than I am) and we leave our everyday life and head down to Geneseo and have a blast, no mushy cards or marketing inspired tradition required.

Of course, you're counted in! I've fiound the WIX gang to be great company at an air show, especially Geneseo. I imagine some rally point will be identified before the show.

And sometimes when meeting up with WIXers you even get some 'free' folding lawn chairs as well!! :lol: Still got 'em and using them Jeff!

Yes, and very happy to see it on the list. Always great to see 2 B-17s on the Turf! I do hope to see 3 Spits as well.

FYI

I just placed my order for my tickets to the Steak and Chicken Dinners today and the request is that the money be sent in by the week before the show. I'm not sure how this will effect those who wait until the last minute to get the tickets but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

I'm sure this will have no effect on Aircrew just us ground bound folks. :wink:

I know I'm new here, and none of you probably know who I am, since this is post #3, but I hope to be heading down to Geneseo for the first time this year. I have planned to go for the last 3 years, but this time I really think I will go. Any tips or tricks specific to this show?
