Bill,

Any word on the Russel Group aircraft? Any other fighters make it in?

Turn out I assume was low do to weather. But the airshow is only part of the WW2 Weekend deal so the show went on. None of the Russell a/c showed, the Lancaster was stuck there until Monday because of weather.

I hope one of these years the weather will give MAAM a brake for ALL days.

Kelly and I had a good time; I was able to tour the inside of the Lancaster which was a first. Seeing the P-61 was cool. I would have loved to get a good walk around but that was no possible. Weather Sunday was Ok. We did not get wet and everything that was supposed to fly flew. But Pictures with the overcast was tuff. I'll try and post some shots tonight.

Tim

I was able to make the show on Sunday, I was passing through by way of brookville PA. (300mi away) on my way back to NY. There was so much to see. I was hoping to see a p-38 and a messershmit, but I could not find either. However, I was pleased with the corsair. I also attended the Corsair day in Bridgeport last week. That was a nice event Jerry. Any plans for a lager Corsair showing in the future? I missed last years.

Sorry I missed you guys, but the price of gas and the uncertain weather dissuaded me. I did get to see the Glamorous Gal and the P-40 fly over my house on LI at 5:38 pm on their way back to Brookhaven. What a great sound!

Hi Nick;
Thanks for the kind words! Sorry you didn't win the photo ride! I don't think we'll do another big Corsair show for a couple of more years. It was a difficult and expensive undertaking, but with its success and the success of smaller events like last weeks "Corsair Day" We should have a good enough track record to attract some bigger sponsors so that we can actually go for as many Corsairs as we can get.

By the way, Reading was pretty good but I was also looking forward to seeing the ME-109. Oh well, there's always next year!
Blue skies,
Jerry
