Hi everyone,

I thought I'd drop a line about the 4th annual benefit auction we are holding at the Canadian Museum of Flight, at Langley Airport, BC.

Money raised goes directly towards acquiring, restoring, and preserving our rich aviation history. Last year we raised $10,000 and this year we are hoping to improve on last year and raise $25,000!

Our website is www.canadianflight.org.

The auction is a little ways away yet, but this'll just make it easier to clear your schedules for the event. It takes place in our Hangar at Langley Airport February 24th, 2007. Our address is below.

@ Hangar # 3 - 5333 216th St. Langley, BC.
Call 604-532-0035 for tickets. Tickets are limited.

There is a dinner before hand at 6:00PM and the auction will begin at 7:00PM. Tickets are $25CDN.

We have some nice auction items including vintage/warbird rides, travel get-aways, gift baskets, and other items.

If anyone's interested in attending or wants more information you can e-mail me at purecanuck@hotmail.com

Cheers,

David McIntosh

Hey everyone,

I just spoke with Sandy Sideroff, the Canadian Museum of Flight's Executive Director and she told me that we're totally sold out for the auction/dinner on Saturday, February 24th.

We've had an overwhelming response this year and are creating a "waiting list" for guests in the event that we need to move to a larger venue, or if we can find a way to expand our capacity without breaking any fire-codes.

We might be holding other fundraising events in the spring so if you miss out on this one, I'll keep you posted on other happenings.

Cheers,

David
