I went to a great little air show last weekend; Cable Air Show
http://www.cableairport.com/airfair/index.html
Cable is a small airport and you are very close to the action, not a lot of warbirds but they did have some very good aerobatic pilots, Rob Harrison "The Tumbling Bear", Frank Donnelly and his 1946 Taylorcraft, Dan Buchanah an his Flying Colors Hang Glider and Doug Jardine flying his Sukhoi 26. The Just In Time Skydivers made a couple of jumps and there was also a great RC demo. There were a lot of flybys including ones from a B-25 and a C-47. The weather was perfect and it was a fun little show, a great way to start the New Year!
Here's a link to complete photographic coverage of the show:

This is a fantastic local show and a great place to take the kiddies. I used to display my Luscombe there. I believe the yellow and red T-6 is based at Cable as are many antiques, homebuilts, and aerobatic planes. Just a few ropes between you and the action, and you can't get far from the runway because the airport is so small! Lots of good close-up viewing of takeoffs and landings.
Nice photos as always Victor!

What happened to the C-47, fly it too soon after repaint in the rain?
