Anyone going?

I'm thinking of making a trip down for Saturday, but I'll have to see how that plays out.

Yeah, not sure which day yet, i'll wait and see. Figuring I'll go one day and watch the show from my bedroom window the other day.

At least this year there are some warbirds going to be there as well, looks like Belle, Panchito, Baranaskas P-51 and P-40, TBM, and a few more.

With that in mind, anyone know when any of the aircraft might be inbound? Figuring most will get there Friday, except the TBirds, probably a day or two early.....i'll have to keep watching the landing pattern from my room and see what happens!

I'm thinking of going Saturday,

Any advice on the show, where to get in and out?

Do they do the bus thing?

Where can I get a look at the display a/c on base, is it possable or worth trying?

Where might be the best spot on the field

Tim

tim, saw they answered somewhat on the fencecheck forums for you. no bus, you park on base. they'll direct you to an entrance off of 611. try to get there as early as possible, but the gates are opened at 830 and they stick to it. there was a line of cars going in last year at that time, waiting for the gates to be opened. static stuff is hard to photo without people in the pics after like the first hour or so.....but they are there. anything flying is off to the side on the hot ramp, but within distance to see and shoot. as far as on the field, maybe down by the hot ramp, which is the opposite end where parking is....just because you can probably get some good shots of take offs and landings...otherwise, anywhere, usually they don't fly that low. anything else, let me know tim!
