It looks like the Ottawa show is being moved to June rather from August. So far they have nothing on the site warbirds wise, but I have been told that Michel Potter's crew will be out in force again.

Here is a link to the site...

Anyone planning to attend?

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Expect the Québec Warbirds to be there in (almost) equal force.

The show line isn't a good place to hang out if you want pictures. By early afternoon the sun is in the wrong place. Actually the taxy way where they park the warbirds is perfect for photography. The crowds don't really gather there (they are at the show line) and you can snap away.

Are you thinking of coming this way?

They had better start adding some acts to their list. Right now most of it is just a repeat of last year. Last year wasn't bad, but they need to build on that and keep it fresh.

I also noted they added an American Heritage Flight. For Pete's sake! They couldn't try a Canadian theme in Canada's national capital? Mike Potter has flown formation with a CF-18 before.

Mike, for a Canadian theme to work you'd have to get an airowrthy CF-18 all the way to Ottawa!
