Hey guys I guess I'm really slow cause it took me over 2 years scowering the net and every where else I could find to build this model and I never really realized how valuable this site is.

As the title says this is a 1/32 Super Corsair made out of paper that I designed and built:

http://www.papermodelers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=125&ppuser=110

The previous link is to my gallery at papermodelers.com and the following is also in my signature is to the site that I sell the model from:

http://gremirmodels.com/f2g_super_corsair.htm

Right now there is only a moderate level of detail in the model however I'm looking to scale up the model to 1/20 or maybe 1/18 and really go to town on it. Any and all reference material would be appreciated even if you think I've probably already got it I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

To clarify my signature I'm not saying it's the best Super Corsair model there is, I think Rodney Williams superb resin conversion has me beat but as it's the only paper/card Super Corsair I know of I feel justified saying it's the best.

So whaddya think?

Looks great. I've seen a lot of paper Formula One cars, but never warbirds.
It never ceases to amaze me the quality of these paper models.

My model is just the tip of the iceberg. It is sparsely detailed but I like to think that overall I got it to look pretty good.

There are hundreds of paper model warbirds out there from many different designers. Just to give you a taste of what can be done with paper check out this large scale P-47 build thread:

http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=154

Us cardmodelers are always trying to proselyte our hobby and we find that many people have no clue what is out there. Like the post title says there are card models of everything. For those that like the P-51 there is a build in progress on papermoders.com

Here is a link to a store called The Hobby factory that specializes in card models:

http://www.hobbyfactory.com/

So hopefully you all will have a look. If you have any questions feel free to ask and especially if you have any reference material on the Super Corsair please send it my way.

That looks really cool. I had no idea such a niche in model building existed.

Hey folks I'm presently reworking this model to make it alot more detailed and I need some reference material. Specifically I'm looking for the F2GAssembly Line pics. I have downloaded a number of them specifically,

F2GAssemblyLine001,
017
018
019
026
031
032
034
036
037
038
040
042
043
048

I have looked through every page of every thread returned by a search for "F2G" and was unable to find more than this. I may have a browser issue because only the little white page with a red x in the middle showed up for a lot of images. I am running the most recent version of Firefox is there a setting or something that will allow me to see the pics? In any case if any of you can help me find the pics I don't have I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Will

noiw that's just crazy. If you can't stuiff it full of firecrackers and make burning hunks of plastic fly out into space, what fun is it? :P

I didn't even know there was a market for it--I'll unglue my eyes from now on! thanks for expanding my universe.
