Model B-24s

I am involved with the creation of a small museum in the UK. We have access to plenty of pictures and information and will start investigating the sourcing of memorabilia and documents, etc. One area where we are having a problem is the sourcing of three model B-24s, which we would like to be made to 1/48th scale. We would like one model for each of the Groups three squadrons, displaying the markings and hopefully authentic noseart.

Does anyone out there make models for museums or other similar organisations? I have found that Revell do a B-24 kit (although the colors are not for the 445thBG which we require) would anyone out there enjoy taking part in the project if suitable kits can be purchased?

I know this is a long shot but thought it may be worth asking.

If anyone has any advice for this non-modeller or if anyone can think of an alternative for us please let me know.
