the builder must be retired, or independently wealthy. wish i had that kind of time. structurally it must be rock solid with the little kid sitting on it!!!

Not that much! You could build a homebuilt airplane for what he'll have into that both time and money wise. Looks like he's been at it better than 5 years. Quite a feat of engineering! Hope it flies as well as it looks.
