 Does anyone know of a model of the A-26 or B-26 Invader in 1/32 scale? I am acutally working on a real A-26, and wanted to build a model bigger than the 1/48th scale kits available. Any info would help.

About the only thing I can think of is maybe Combat Models vacuform kits. They've done some 1/32 multi-engine WWII stuff. But be warned..from what I've heard all you really get are the basic shapes, and in many cases the fit and accuracy leave much to be desired.

However, the Revell/Monogram 1/48 Invader is very nice.

According to how well the 1/18 B-25 sells. we may could get a A-26 in 1/18 at a later date. 8)

Comet Models used to have an A-26. I'm not sure of the scale but, it's larger than 1/48th. It's balsa construction and tissue covered model. www.shortysbasement.com may still have one. Look under KITS and then Discontinued items.

30 inch wingspan

Here is a link for plans for an 87" span Invader. IT probably would take about as long to build this as it would to restore the full size craft.
