I have ben wanting to build the 1/48th Monogram P-38 in the F-5 photo nose version. Does anyone know where I could get the nose for the conversion?

I thought the photorecon version came as one of the options to be built. Along w/ Standard fighter, Night Fighter and Pathfinder.

Google P-38 1/48 scale, and you will find several parts places. Some do have kits. Best bet it look at the model web sites for large scale kits, do review of finished kits and they list what kit stuff they used and what else they added to the box kit.
Have fun.

All the Monogram kits I have built over the years, had F-5 nose as well as the others mentioned.
If you can't find, I may have a piece or two in the parts box.

The Monogram (now Revell) kit comes with the parts but no instructions or decals for it unless you have one of the old boxings.

We just collected a few F-5 nose parts together if you want them for your project.
