Here is a little project I put together several years ago. It is a Lego Aircraft carrier. Is set up as CV-14 USS Ticonderoga.

Just remember it is Legos.

That's incredible Tim. What is the overall size? It looks quite large.

either you have alot of time on your hands or alot of lego stock shares!! which is it?? pretty cool though. i had 4 kids & still didn't have that many legos. personally... i hated em, they were always stuck in the couch, vaccuum cleaner, stepped on barefoot & hurt like hell!!!! you should email rumsfeld.... you could cut the u.s. navy ship / aircraft budget by 95% to the satisfaction of us $$$$$ overburdened taxpayers by building our weapon systems out of legos!!

II had a lot of time on my hands, I could only wish I had it now.

But I would like to keep my current job. That is unless I could be independently wealthy, then I'd like a nice part time job at my local Home Brew store and a Museum to volunteer at.

ANYWAY. The Legos I collected for 20 years and I received my Brothers Legos when they got bored with them. I would get Lego’s every birthday, Christmas. I would also buy them whenever I could. I think they where a lot cheaper then.

I had heard about that site, but never looked for it.

How about a Lego history of WW2? Or Korea in my case. I guess I'll have to replace "14" with "32" or another Carrier that operated off the coast.

How about 1969 ( 43 Coral Sea ) in Manila bay, Philippines and the sailors on Shore leave! wouldn't that be a hoot! I would be the one in the whore house or brigg. I know I had a good time when I was there! How about that OLD NAVY! Makes me smile everytime I see one of those shirts! If those chicks wearing them only knew!

Great

I never ported in PI or the like. But many of my shipmates had. "Old Navy" shirts will never be the same in my mind.

The mental pictures of Lego-Liberty Call PI are just wrong  8)
