Brewster Buffalo, in a Finnish Finish

Here's my latest project. It's the Hasegawa B-239 in 1/72 scale. The kit was built mostly straight from the box, although I added a bit of detail to the cockpit. The kit swastika decals were much too dark, and the fuselage codes were gray, rather than green. I scanned the decal sheet and corrected the colors, then printed new ones using the color laser printer at my (now former) employer. The home-made decals were translucent, so I layered the green numbers over the gray ones.

That is very, very nice, especially in 1/72nd. Well done.

Nice model, excellent detail for 1/72.
