Douglas Bader's LE@D Hurricane camo question and update

have gone through all the usual sources and came up with these three pictures. Please correct any of my conclusions but here they are.

The camo pattern is "Scheme A".

I have looked at the kicking boot photo for a long time and I think on this plane, which might not be Bader's (I think it is), the panel was taken off and the whole thing painted Dark Green or was from a "Scheme B" aircraft. Note the sharp edge along the panel line at the front and back of the panel. There seems to be a drain hole modification vis the natural metal ring color so the modification could have coinsided with the painting of the kicking boot. What do you guys think?

No oil deflector at the front of the cowl. And the standard Hawker propeller with Hawker spinner (no Spitfire replacement).

Paint is in good condition, not a lot of weathering. Maybe some extra scratches around the cockpit from his legs...maybe.

Does anyone have any extra photos or better photos? I am open to any help offered. I have asked this question on Hyperscale and got some interesting feedback. I thought I would ask the question here too. Any photographs posted would be helpful to myself and others researching this subject. Thank you all.
