Hasegawa 1/48th.
I was wanting a sea fury, but that trumpeter kit is a bit pricey for me, and the hobbycraft version is nowhere to be found.
I also want a tempest if anyone has any good leads, 1/48.

I kinda weathered it a bit more than I wanted to, because the wash I was using wasn't wiping off enough, so it went on a bit heavy. Invasion stripes are brush painted.
Kit is nice to build, save the way the fuselage goes together around the cockpit. I'm guessing they use this same kit for the car door version as well. Rockets are a bit spindly also, but I like the way they come out, so no complaints there.

At least you have a Sea Fury in your scale. Im going to have to modify a Tempest in 1/144! Really nice looking model. I especially love the grass and cracked tarmac. What did you use for the concrete?

Cheers!
The tarmac is 120 grit sandpaper, torn to simultae the cracking. Usually available in black too, helps you skip a step.

There is a Czech company, MiniWing, that does a 144 Sea Fury, looks pretty good too. I like 144 for Christmas ornaments.
