Finished off my Hobbycraft DHC-Beaver, 1-48th scale. I did a water base to too! I might have to try and get some more outdoor pics because I really like the way the sun plays the shadows on the water base. Water is Woodland Scenics realistic water and water effects. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The fuselage is moulded in clear, so you have to mask the windows inside when you paint the interior, and again outside when you paint the exterior. The fit isn't too good either, it's really tough to get the floats to fit together and sit level. Instructions weren't detailed, and there were parts and steps that weren't clear at all as to how or where they connect. On the plus, it had decals for four different planes. I've built hobbycrafts Sea Fury and it was fine, Vampire and it was fine, Beaver, not so much. |

I'm just finishing up a 1/72 Airfix Beaver which has gone pretty well. |
