I finished the old Otaki kit about 2 weeks ago. It is straight OOB, with a Hasegawa canopy (kit's met an unfortunate fate). Decals are Superscale. Kit built up very nicely, with very little effort.

Great paint job ! Makes me wanna throw mine in the scrap heap, and start all over !.......Any thoughts on how the Haseagawa F6F compare to the Otaki / Arii overall, taken in cosideration the nose problem ?

Hard to say...I've yet to put the Hasegawa kit together. The Arii kit is very nice...very little filling, fine details, correct shape. It could have some more detail and a few more parts to be a fantastic kit.
In the box, the Hasegawa looks great, but I really can't say until I dig it out of the stash and slap it together
