I have two new, never opened, never flown, Cox plastic line control models, P-51 and Spitfire. Does anyone know if they are rare and what they might be worth? I have considered flying them, but hear they are fast and more tricky than the real thing. Kudos for the high quality of the models shown by many on this site.

It depends on which versions they are. I have seen some bring 250-300 on e-bay.

Bill I'd just shelf em' or display em in a glass case in your hanger.

They fly like plastic bricks, lol

But they are worth something to the collectors, as well as the nostalgia factor.
