I shot this at Arlington, TX a few years back. The owner had just completed the restoration and was preparing for the trip to Oshkosh.

Yes... this one is a rare one. Even being based in the area I have only seen it a few times. Last I saw it is when it flew up to the Antique Fly-in up in Gainesville a few years ago.

I think this might be the one now owned by Bob Howie in Central Illinois. I'll check my file photos from the last two or three Waco flyins at Creve Coeur. He usually brings his Laird down for the flyin. Like Dan said, very rare plane, tube fuselage is made of that ultra hard to find element, Unobtainium.

This airplane is owned by Doug Fuss and is hangered in Texas...as far as I know...I have not seen it in a while and it has not flown for several years.

I have some pics of it from Oshkosh 1996, unfortunately typical Oshkosh pics, rather cluttered.
