aviation memorabilia reproductions - what's next??

:x patches, uniforms, silhouette i.d. models, medals, on & on....... now i've seen it all!!!!! ready???? actual repro newspapers from 1929 complete with headlines telling of lindbergh's atlantic crossing, & a 1937 repro newspaper with the headline of amelia earhart's disappearance. complete newspapers, right down to the other headlines , advertisements etc. where does it end??? as a collector it bothers me. yes, it's a cool novelty, a conversation piece, a neat decoration, but all this repro sh*t is destroying the integrity of collecting the real deal!!! yes, some companies cranking out this dreck have scruples, & put little symbols denoting it is a phoney, while others do not, most notably the repro i.d. model companies who crank out the planes complete with the original dates. there needs to be some accountability as to ethics from some of these manufactoring companies!!
