A Forum for those interest in vintage NON-military aircraft

I understand the latest Classic Wings has an article on Gene Frank's collection. In the early 70's I documented (after page by page searching through the Civil Register at the time) 34 registered aircraft in his collection plus I knew of many unregistered including two Jennys.
Is this the first article anyone remembers seeing on his collection? Has maybe the EAA's publications or AAHS, or someone else ever did an article?

If you ever run across that issue please let me know.
Gene's collection was of extreme fascination to me in my teen years some 30 miles from his duster strip. My Dad had flown over the field in 1970 and spotted Tri-Motors which he told me about that evening. That sparked it all...

Lowell, if you didn't know, most of the Frank collection has been sold off. Go to
http://www.radialengines.com/aircraft_projects/index.htm to see the story and planes.... Wish I could have seen them like you did.
