Unfortunatly I've never seen the Waco 10 fly or even run for that matter. It would be nice, as it looks like a fine aircraft. I'm pretty sure it has remained quiet forthe entilre time I have been involved with the museum, over ten years now(

where does the time go?)
I have flown in the American Eagle though. I got a ride back from Watsonville in it quite a few years back. That was something.
The Pietenpol is the first aircraft I ever worked on I started helping with that one right from the get go at 14. Those old guys used to love to shove me into tight spots they couldn't twist into anymore. Fortunatly or unfortunatly it has also become the first aircraft I have worked on to crash. I'm just glad Len was Ok.
As for Lennart Von Clem, You might be thinking of Von Lamb. He has also been very active in the antique aircraft seen in that area.
