Gruman Goose and truck mix it up- Goose loses

Goose pilot did everything right. Semi came thru broken gate. Goose lands on truck. All OK.

What a lousy situation. I hope that Goose can make its way back into the air sometime soon.

OWW! Looks like AkDOT will bite this weenie. Relocation sounds good. In this case, it seems to me that the big schnoz on the goose may have acted as a buffer to take much of the impact.

You would think that with all the extra money that Alaska state has right now, that they would be fixing up saftey issues all across the state. Improvements that lend itself to saftey issues should be a high priority, one would think. Dave
