We had a new prop to try out, so went to Ohio on Sunday to fly the 'giro. New prop works good, and took a bunch of rides. Last one on Monday was to Greg Morehead of Warbird Digest, and I gave him my camcorder to try to get some shots from the front cockpit. Easier said than done, but got some interesting stuff. We also did an air-to-air photo shoot from a Cub, and he should've gotten some spectacular shots agains the Autumn foliage.

That video is pretty interesting. Sorry we did not get a chance to visit much on Sunday. We brought a young man from Germany who is here for 6 mos. working an internship to see your flight. He is a glider pilot in Germany and has decided to get his Private ticket here since it is about 1/3 the price. We have indoctrinated him correctly into the world of Wacos and antiques and he was Susan's first passenger in the RNF since she got her PPL. Our friend Mathias was quite impressed seeing the Pitcairn fly....even with me telling him "If you've seen one PA-18 fly you've seen 'em all"

By way of an update: the "other" PA 18 is making slow but steady progress. It could very well fly next summer. I'd update with photos, but it's at a stage where they wouldn't really show very much. If anyone wants to see it, go to www.poseybrothers.com and click on the "Posey Cam" link. The PA 18 usually lives straight under the camera.
