Cessna Airmaster C-38 recover

We have started a new project, to recover my Dad's 1938 Cessna Airmaster.
It has had the cotton that he put on it since around 1974 and no longer passed the punch
tests during annuals. Earlier last month, we began the disassembly process.
So far, we have the engine off, the sheetmetal off, the fabric off the fuselage,
the glass and interior out, the tail surfaces are off and the wing was removed last week.
Here is a new online photo album
of the work:

Classic airplane.

Does the warner need an overhaul?
