Post subject: | Seabee at Chicagoland |
There was a natural metal Seabee like the one in the above picture parked out at Chicagoland Airport in Wheeling, IL in the late seventies until it closed. I never got a photo or N number, unfortunately - does it ring any bells with you all? |

Thanks Tulio! looks like an interesting project with much of the dirty-work complete. I wonder whassup with the 15.7 TTAF? Obviously a typo? My budget is closer to the Challenger ultralight on floats below the Seabee tho... ![]() Seabee Project... www.barnstormers.com/listing_images.php?id=117969 |

AirN: I sure wish that I had a hangar, one big enough to hold all of "dem" projects (but I also wish I had the money to buy them projects, too) and have people working on them and see them all fly again... Alas, it will remain just a wish : ) Saludos, Tulio |
