There is also about 40 years worth of accumulated bits and pieces – H&P never threw anything away and never passed up a bargain. How many engines, props, instruments, panels, FC surfaces, seats, C wheels, odd spares etc. do you need today?
As a historical note, I’ve taken to checking data plates – it’s amazing how many different ones can be found on the same airframe. One C-119 had three different serial number DPs and the DPs in the cockpit and fwd bulkhead were missing entirely – curious isn’t it? And this was an acft out of a major depot which shall remain nameless.
