Sad news out of Arlington, TX. Friend of mine dropped me a note that several vintage airplanes were damaged. An L4 and a Fairchild 22 project. Hope to post more when I find out. Below is the article...

Hangar burns at Arlington airport
By MARK AGEE
Star-Telegram Staff Writer

ARLINGTON — A hangar at the Arlington Municipal Airport caught fire Monday night, and at least nine planes and several cars were destroyed, officials said.
Firefighters at the airport station noticed the two-alarm blaze about 7:30 p.m., but it may have been burning some time, Batallion Chief David Stapp said.

“By the time anyone would have seen it from the outside, it would have been pretty severe,” Stapp said.

No injuries were reported.

Fire investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire, which burned through nine hangar stalls.

Firefighters saved the building’s eleven other hangar stalls, but they were damaged by smoke, Stapp said.

The hangars are owned by the city and rented to fliers by the month, airport manager Bob Porter said.

A damage estimate was not available.

Darn, never good. Makes me worry about my hangar attached to neighbors to the side and behind. Let us know about other aircraft.
