I just ran across this interesting item....This was apparently news last summer. Anyone know more about it?

Most interesting. There are a fair number of 146's sitting around gathering spiderwebs and dust. If it pans out like they hope, it will bring airborne firefighting into the 21st Century for sure.

I think it's cool that they painted with the lighning bolt just like a lot of the Neptune airtankers...which of course were kept from when the aircraft used to be with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
