22 years ago today Al Haynes masterfully got UAL 232 on the ground in Sioux City Iowa after wrestling the gorilla for over and hour following the explosion of #2 engine in his DC-10 and the total loss of all hydraulics. Not everyone made it out of the accident, but still a great job of flying and 'making it up as we go along'

poor old dudley devorak!!! ink literally wasn't dry on his FE IOE and BOOM!!!
My brother has a UAL DC-10 print signed by Capt. Haynes and it is a treasured item.
