Tonight, almost to the minute of this posting, on Nov. 24, 1971 one D.B. Cooper stepped off the last tread of the aft airstairs on NORTHWEST ORIENT AIRLINES Boeing 727-051, N 467US (msn 18803 then N838N, then N29 KA, and b/u) somewhere over southern Washington State clutching a canvas sack holding $200K and disappeared into legend-I'll bet there's one heck of a party rockin' the Cougar Washington tavern right now
