Dec. 4, 1991 PAN AM Airlines, the 'chosen instrument' rolled over and died

As late as August 2002, I saw two, maybe three B-727s operating with the Pan-Am logo, out of Orlando-Sandford airport.
I have photos of them back home in TX.
I believe it was an attempt to resurrect the airline, but it came to naught.
Saludos,
Tulio

There were at least two attempts including one that shoved PA onto CHALKS back. The article refers to the original PA giving up the ghost. There were also at least two attempts to drag BRANIFF back into life.
