To christen this new forum I am going to post the link to some video forwarded to me by Lynn Allen. Its the first aerial obstacle course I've ever seen.

I'm covering my eyes saying things like "He isn't going to make it!!!" They think I am kind of weird here at work now.

Heh, it is a whole lot of insane isn't it? I like the concept though. Wouldn't mind seeing that live.

Hmmmm... Not found. :-(

Has anyone else seen the film showing skydivers air racing?

They flew a Red Bull Air Race at Reno, too. I'm usually pretty jaded about this type of aviation "event", but it was actually pretty darn fun to watch!

You're referring to the film called "A Day At The Races". I saw it circa '82 when they used to do a big slideshow during race week at the Reno MGM Grand.

As Randy mentioned above, they did do this at the Reno Air Races this past year, but instead of being over water, they were over the desert, and the coarse was much closer together in front of the crowd. Image

Pretty cool eh? acually seen one hit one of the inflatable pylons once, caused no damage to the aircraft, it hit with it the rudder and deflating it while flying sideways through pylons.
