Does airport security technically have ANY jurisdiction outside of the airport's property? I know, they have badges and guns and it isn't smart to argue with them "Just doing their jobs" but what is THE LAW? I know I look suspicious!!!!

Not usually, the United States might be different, but they do have very good relationships with local law enforcement. Also keep in mind that the fence isn't always the boundary between airport and public property.

Ask the guys that try and sit in the In&Out parking lot off the end of the runway at LAX...they get run off by security all the time...
