Tried out a new Drift POV cam in my plane yesterday. Was a gorgeous day to go play.

Looks good, nice depth of field and a good 'eyeball high' viewpoint, Fall colors are really vibrant!!

Pretty cool. I have about 15 hours of dual in two different S-2Bs, but the last flight was probably in '98 or '99. I loved every moment. Are you flying an S-2A? Hard to tell but it looked like a covered front cockpit in front.

Hey Chappie, it's a 1988 B model that has the canopy option for single slider and open front. Generally, the front windscreen comes off and a cover goes over the front hole when I'm solo. The original owner was Thomas J. Watson Jr. (former head of IBM amongst many other things) and the logs show he had the canopy conversion done early on in his ownership. Seems he had quite a few planes and I think he had a P-51 too.

Anyhow, here's a profile pic showing the basic canopy setup:

Jason. Interesting, I've never knew the B-model had that option. I think the first S-2B I flew is up in Michigan= N69SZ. Don't suppose you've ever seen it?

This little camera's been a good one. I have a GoPro 2 which I like alot also, but the Drift has a rotate-able lens that allows more flexibility to capture the flight.

Here's the cabane look back:
