Sometimes the discoveries I find are just too strange to make up. They can happen in unexpected places and times and they just leave me scratching my head and wondering what in the world happened here. The stories behind the discoveries are stranger than fiction and worth retelling.

This is one such story about a plane, a teen and a used car dealership.

Locking up your airplane, even in a locked hanger is no guarantee! GOOGLE and read the story about Colton Harris Moore, the Barefoot Bandit who stole at least two airplanes (the second one from the Mid West to the Carribean) along several boats and cars while leading police on a merry chase from Pt. Roberts WA. to the Carribean where he was busted while scoping out a boat to steal all while he was 16. He's back in Seattle under Federal jursidiction and facing lots of years in gray bar city.
You've got to shake your head at his skills and cleverness and how he taunted police with things like chalking big cartoon feet on the cement floor of a grocery store he broke into.
