I'm looking for an old Tcraft, N26505, that was sold to an individual in Jessup in 1987. It was sold as a project, I don't know what condition. Its a long shot, but if any WIXer's are near that part of the country and know of an old Tcraft languishing in some corner of a hangar, I'd love to know about it. My Dad soloed in it in 1943. Thanks.

Steve

I believe it's registered in OK now.

Did you check the FAA's website and do an N# search? :drink3:

The last guy on the FAA registry was a fellow in Savannah. He sold it in 1987 to the guy in Jessup. I talked to the owner of a flight service at the Jessup airport and he gave me a name of a gentleman he thinks has it. So far, no answer at that phone number.
An interesting aside to this. I talked to the owner in Savannah on Wednesday the 4th. My Dad soloed in this ship on 1/4/42, exactly seventy years to the day earlier.
The Oklahoma address is FAA. Standard for aircraft that haven't had activity in a long while.

I'm sorry for my earlier mistake, I should have double checked my link first.
