Are my eyes deceiving me or is the port engine still running in this photo?

 Kinda like the SHAKY that crashed in the 50's and one engine continued to run for a couple of days.

That left prop is definitely turning, enough to be blurred in the photo. *Maybe* it's freewheeling in the wind.

Although...

The C-124 incident has already been mentioned...

and...

On TV a few months ago, there was a special in which a team of scientists belly-landed a remotely-piloted Boeing 727 (loaded with cameras, instruments, and mannequins) on the desert floor in Mexico to record the actual conditions in a crash in order to study the possibilities of human survival. The entire nose cockpit and section of the fuselage, from the galley forward, completely detached from the aircraft, and when the jet came to a stop, at least two of the three engines were still running (one of those was clearly in the full throttle state).

Looks like two rescuers under that running engine and a bloody mess at ones feet. That cockpit is all tore up, floor and instrument panel all that's left?

Not to mention the corpse hanging out of the fuselage right at the prop arc.

Actually, a google search shows that all 21 people on board survived, all with injuries, 5 of them serious.............
